Sponsorship

Vision Research Corporation's mass screening programs are typically conducted in areas ranging in size from communities to counties to entire states. For example, in several programs, all of the kindergarten children in all of the schools throughout an entire state are screened for eye problems each year.

These mass screening programs are typically provided free to the schools and the students, with costs sponsored by private companies, foundations, and government agencies. Corporate sponsors find the program to be an excellent community relations, public relations and corporate image tool. They receive extensive exposure with each of the families whose children are screened, and with the schools and the communities. There are few programs that provide as valuable a community service as helping assure that all of the kids throughout an area start their education able to see well.

VRC's screening programs and their sponsors have frequently been featured on local and regional evening news programs, and in the leading newspapers in the screening areas.
