Components of VRC's Mass Screening Services
VRC
is the only single-source provider of large-scale eye screening
services in the country. These services are typically provided throughout
entire geographic areas, ranging from counties to entire states.
The number of children included in the screening programs have ranged
from a low of 5,000 to over 150,000, all done within short time
frames. For example, a 150,000 child program was done start-to-finish
in about 6 months, while a 5,000 child program can be done in as
little as a few weeks.
