To Whom It May Concern,

We were pleased to work with Vision Research in the Eye Check program, and would highly recommend the use of photo-refraction technology as an excellent way to conduct vision screenings in school. The children in our schools have benefited from this health effort, and we look forward to the opportunity to work with Vision Research again in the future.

Sincerely,
Director-Student Services

Dear Sir,

We recently had our students in K-2 tested by the vision screening program conducted by Vision Research. We were very pleased with the results found by the testing, which resulted in some of our students getting glasses and we had one student to have surgery where they found a parasite. We are very much interested in our other students receiving the vision screening.

Respectfully Submitted,
Principal

Vision Research Corporation,

I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your photorefractive ocular screening program. I saw Jacob Ellis whose screening photo showed hyperopic anisometropia. With glasses and patching, Jacob's vision has greatly improved in his amblyopic eye. Without this screening, Jacob's parents may not have caught this vision problem in time to correct it and improve vision.

On a personal note, my son was screened by the program when he was 4 years old. My exam 6 months previously demonstrated no ocular problems. When I received the photo with a report that he was noted as having a possible problem, I was reluctant to believe the results. After testing him again, I found him to be amblyopic in his left eye. Today, he is doing great and improving.

I am impressed with this screening program and hope that it continues so that it can help detect eye anomalies in children who might not otherwise be diagnosed.

Sincerely,
Ophthalmologist

Dear Sir;

My son, Nolan, recently had a vision screening performed on him at his school. The results came back suggesting that he may have a problem with one of his eyes. We immediately made an appointment for him with a pediatric ophthalmologist. Nolan was diagnosed as having 20/400 vision in one eye. With a patch and eyeglasses, the eye in question will be able to be corrected. The ophthalmologist suggested this was very good that the problem was detected at this early age. With no warning from Nolan, we had no knowledge that there was any kind of a problem. It was only through the screening that this problem was detected.

I am ever so grateful for helping us to correct such a situation as this. If this test had not been administered within the next two years, we were told that Nolan would be considered legally blind in this eye.

Again, I would just like to say THANKS for this service.

With sincere appreciation,
Father
