Vision Research Corporation constantly receives letters and comments of gratitude from parents and school personnel. In addition, various physicians have sent us follow-up information on patients they have seen, confirming the findings of our screenings. Dear Sirs,

My son, Zachary, had "significant problems indicated" according to the analysis I received from the school. I took him to see an eye doctor and he was diagnosed as being farsighted. The analysis detected a difference between his eyes and it was right on! I didn't have a clue! Without this screening, my son would have gone to first grade having to work harder than his counterparts. Learning should be a joy, not a strain. Let's give kids every advantage to succeed!

In addition to being the mother of a kindergartner, I am a kindergarten teacher in Osceola County. This screening is also given to the students in my classes. When it was introduced a few years ago, I was impressed with the technology and the dedication of my school district to promote the most thorough screening available to catch these types of problems before it affects students' achievement and their attitude toward school. And now, it has touched the life of my child! It concerns me that without this screening, my child may not have performed to his fullest potential.
