"I
love the program and how it has helped Tyler so much!"

Tyler
Smith participated in the Alabama Eye Screening Program at his school.
His screening indicated that he was farsighted and had an opacity
in his right eye. Tyler was taken to an optometrist who confirmed
the results of the screening. His doctor said that children's eyes
develop until about age six and he was very glad to have the problem
detected at such an early age. Glasses were prescribed along with
patching of the left eye to make the right eye stronger.

From
the first appointment to the latest, Tyler's vision has improved
from 20/200 to 20/50. His mother, Angela, is extremely happy. She
knows, that without the screening, she may not have found out until
it was too late that her son had vision problems. She is very grateful
that it was discovered and her son's vision is improving.
