Steven is very outgoing and loves to be involved in everything. With the type of child he is, and with no family history of eye problems, Steven's parents were a little surprised when he came home with the screening report indicating a possible vision problem.

Steven's screening indicated an astigmatism and anisometropia (a difference in the eyes that can indicate or lead to amblyopia). An alignment error was also noted in his right eye. Steven was taken to see an eye doctor for further evaluation and glasses were prescribed to correct the problems.

Steven really enjoys wearing his glasses and his teacher said his class work has improved greatly.
