The
following is an excerpt from the news release: "Photoscreening
Could Improve Detection of Vision Problems" by the American
Academy of Pediatrics.
It
describes photoscreening as "An innovative vision screening
tool could improve detection of vision problems, particularly among
young children and those who are difficult to screen using traditional
methods
"
"The
AAP also continues to recommend that vision screening for all children
be done at the earliest possible age and at regular intervals during
childhood, to eliminate preventable blindness and treatable visual
disability."
